How visits, levels and rewards work
Create a passport with your name. Each visited TRIPGUROO territory earns a stamp. There are 99 XP levels in 9 groups of 11. All collections contribute: regions, UN countries, TRIPGUROO territories, places, UNESCO sites, wonders and food. 100 UN countries earn the Legendary rank without granting level 99. Earn your first bronze medal with 2 territories, then another every 10, up to 323. Save your file to restore it on another device, or share a link so another traveler can see your visits and create or import their own passport.
Choose a country or territory on the map, in the selector or in the list, then select a place for details. The map selects territories; a place pin marks its location. My passport contains your TRIPGUROO passport, trophies for 28 regions, 193 UN country flag patches, UNESCO postage stamps, wonder postcards, Flavors, Medals and levels. Discovering a region earns 500 XP; visiting all its territories adds a 2,000 XP bonus. Each completed region earns 2,500 XP in total. Each UN country earns 300 XP, TRIPGUROO territory 75 XP, place 20 XP and dish 30 XP. Each UNESCO site adds 50 XP and each wonder 200 XP. Each piece earns its bonus once. In Flavors, choose a territory and check dishes you have tried. Food checks and counts are independent of visits and reveal the image in color. Compare tried, pending and shared dishes. Everything travels in your passport. Each TRIPGUROO stamp depicts a local landmark. Your first visit triggers a passport-stamping animation. Filter by continent, territory, UNESCO, place type or visits. “Neither has visited” shows places neither traveler has checked. “TRIPGUROO territories to visit” finds whole visited or unvisited territories. Numbered circles group nearby places.
Your name identifies your passport in this browser. Download it so you can restore it; this is not a cloud account. Shared links and files are snapshots of visits at that moment and do not sync in real time.
About the selection and map
The catalog groups places by territorial or administrative circumstances: South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands under the Falkland Islands; Midway under Hawaii; Chagos under Mauritius and dependencies; Wake under Guam; Srpska under Bosnia and Herzegovina; Sikkim under India; Nevis within St Kitts and Nevis; Macquarie under Tasmania; and Kerguelen and Crozet under Réunion. Each place has its own check. Its card explains the grouping; this travel organization does not change territorial status.
Navajo Nation has its own travel territory and outline, based on the reservation and trust lands in the 2025 US Census map. Midway is a place within the Hawaii group; Chagos within Mauritius and Dependencies; and Wake within Guam. These are TRIPGUROO travel groupings. Previous checks are preserved as visits to those places.
323 TRIPGUROO territories: an adapted TCC-based catalog. Antarctica, Egypt and Türkiye each count once; Catalonia, Quebec, Iraqi Kurdistan and the Basque Country (Euskadi) have their own stamps and map areas. Outlines are approximate. UN patches are grouped by country and do not check other territories.
Includes 1,273 UNESCO World Heritage properties, consulted on October 9, 2026, alongside the original travel selection. Filter by cultural, natural and mixed heritage. Each inscription has an approximate point; multi-location properties may show one component. The point is neither the property boundary nor an entrance.

Each place includes its city or locality. Parks, rivers and large areas show a reference locality or region because they do not belong to a single city. Some geographic references come from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0): distances are in a straight line and do not represent a route or entrance. Whole cities and their landmarks may have separate checks. All catalog places and cities are retained. The selector includes 321 TRIPGUROO travel territories, based on the January 2022 TCC list with custom catalog adaptations. Each territory also has its own card under “TRIPGUROO territories,” even when no other destination is listed. Territory cards mark a reference locality or area, not necessarily a capital.
A TRIPGUROO territory is visited when you check at least one place within it or its territory card. Blue: only you; terracotta: only the comparison traveler; green: both, even if you visited different places. The total is 323. Hawaii, Alaska and the contiguous United States count separately; Saba and Sint Eustatius count together. One check does not automatically mark other territories of the same country. For transboundary or multi-component properties, only the territory of the displayed point counts; check other territories you visited separately. All Antarctic visits count toward one territory. Small circles locate small islands or territories without a distinct outline. To remove a territory visit, remove all its checks.
